First published in 1889 as a sample and inspiration for graphic artists, Petzendorfers Atlas is now recommended not only to people interested in typography, calligraphy and history of printing. It also provides a conversion schedule for deciphering handwritten and printed sources and inscriptions of various periods and origins. A copy of this standard work was digitized by the Gdańsk Technical University and added to the Pomeranian Digital Library.
